App Review: SmartAlarm Pro

So when I first received this app from VAPSSKY to do a review, I thought ” really, ANOTHER alarm app?” But, SmartAlarm Pro is different, and unfortunately for non-morning people like me, a little annoying.

You see, SmartAlarm Pro doesn’t allow you to merely just hit “snooze or stop” to make the alarm stop, but you have to solve a math problem or brain teaser. First off, I HATE math, secondly, if you’re waking up at say 5:30 in the morning do you really want have to think about popping a balloon to turn off your alarm? Personally, I don’t.

VAPSSKY claims it helps with waking your brain up, and I’m sure it does, but more so it would just make me as I said before, annoyed.

Now, it’s not all bad I assure you. SmartAlarm Pro, does allow you use a “Sleep Timer,” where you can choose five minute incremants of your favorite songs to drift off to, after which the app goes into “Sleep Mode,” until you have to wake up and turn off the alarm.

All in all, I personally would not use this. I am by no means a morning person, and figuring out brain teasers in the AM isn’t my cup of tea. But, for those of you who want to get that jump start in morning, go head over to the App Store and buy SmartAlarm Pro for just 99 cents. Happy snoozing!
