Maverick Software planning to make iPhone games.

Maverick Software is planning to release its own original games for the iPhone and iPod touch, a total of four games have been planned to be launched via the App Store. One of the new games is titled Comet Cowboy, a space adventure game where you can lasso comets with a laser, will be available for $4.99. Another game in development is Yulan Majjong Solitaire, using the iPhone and Touch’s mutltitouch interface you can zoom in for a better view and select tiles with just a tap. The game will also be available for $4.99.

Another app isn’t really a game but fun software that turns your iPhone into a snowglobe, titled Snowglobe, you can shake your iPhone to make snow snakes swirl around like a real snowglobe. This app will be available for $.99. Maverick will have a free release as well titles Blip Solitaire. It is a one-player version of the classic Pong.

If surfing the net gets boring, it’s great to know there are software companies who are dedicated to bringing us fun games for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
