AAA Roadside Assistance iPhone app makes use of GPS

My car had free roadside assistance from AAA for three years, and it has saved me a few times, so I know how handy AAA’s roadside assistance can be. Well AAA has a new app called AAA Roadside that makes use of their stellar service. Sometimes you don’t always know what part of town you are in, so the App uses the iPhones GPS to send your location information directly to AAA when you request roadside assistance. This seems like an awesome app that will come in handy next time you have a flat tire, run out of gas or break down in the middle of no where. And while you wait, the app also lets users search for local repair shops and near by Hertz rental car locations to make things convenient when AAA does get to your location.
