The NY Times has reported that Apple has rejected the Opera Browser from being featured in the Apple Application Store. According to the report, Opera Software, a company that distributes the Opera Browser for various different platforms, created a version Opera Mini that could be run on the Apple iPhone 3G. They believe that Apple rejected the application because the Opera browser would compete with the Safari browser, which is included in the iPhone OS. This news bit only suggests one thing: Apple will NOT accept any browser application, including since it could replace the Safari browser on the iPhone.
