Recently, Apple removed Wobble—an app that adds real jiggle to photographic boobies, then other similar app removals followed. Techcrunch.com was following this story and got the low down on the new Apple policy on racy image apps.
1. No images of women in bikinis
2. No images of men in bikinis
3. No skin
4. No silhouettes that indicate that Wobble can be used for wobbling boobs
5. No sexual connotations or innuendo: boobs, babes, booty, sex – all banned
6. Nothing that can be sexually arousing
7. No apps will be approved that in any way imply sexual content
Some of the app community is up in arms about this new policy. I don’t really understad why – these all seem like extremely useless apps in the first place that maybe provide a quick laugh at best, then lose all replay value. If you truly need your softcore fix I would suggest use the internet like the rest of the world.
