Phil Schiller: No More Apple Products This Year

October 27, 2009

Apple News

Rumors, oh rumors. Speculation of new products coming out of Apple up in Cupertino are never lacking. With the latest rumors of a Quad Core Macbook, and a Apple Tablet for the holiday season, wouldn’t it be great if we could hear word from the horses mouth (so to speak). Well, this time we actually did.

In an interview between Apple Vice President Phil Schiller and the guys over at Gizmodo, Schiller spilled the beans that Apple is done for the year releasing new products for 2009. This is usually an obvious assumption as it is the same schedule every year for Apple announcements. Sorry, no Christmas Event like “2009′s Let it Snow keynotes” or my favorite, “The Worldwide New Years Developer Convention” [WWNYDC].

So rumors can finally take a rest for a few months, but I am sure they won’t. Maybe Apple should consider putting out a public service announcement so people, go back to your normal lives and stop  trolling the net for Apple Tablet Deals and Macbook Quadcore release dates.
