Apple tablet to be priced above iPhone but below MacBook

A source at Apple Insider claims that the rumored Apple Tablet is coming in 2010, and at a price that is within reason. The source claims that the Apple tablet will be in the price range of somewhere betweet the cost of the high-end iPhone ($299) and Apple’s least expensive MacBook ($999). So we’re guessing the Apple tablet to be between $599 and $699, depending on its features that’s not a bad price at all. The source also went on to say that it will indeed be 3G enabled and should be around 10-inches or so and shaped like large iPod touch or iPhone. We all know Apple and AT&T have been butting heads recently, rumor is that the Apple tablet might go to Verizon over AT&T. What will this new tablet from Apple be called? Some are saying it will fall under the MacBook line and will carry that name as well. Stay tuned for any developed news and rumors about the upcoming Apple tablet.
