Cote Collaborative is claiming that AT&T will be reducing the price of their entry level iPhone plans by $10 from $69 to $59 per month. They claim they will offer the new pricing plan when the new iPhone 3.0 model is released in June. It is thought that this price cut will be to make the iPhone even more competitive against the soon to be released Palm Pre. Apple and AT&T have been under a lot of pressure to sell more iPhones as the competition gets fiercer and the economy gets slower so the $240 savings over a two-year contract is a way to get more consumers to buy iPhones. Of course none of this has been confirmed by Apple as these are all just rumors and speculation.
