Card Counting iPhone App

A message has been making the rounds among the staff of many Vegas Casinos regarding a new app out there that may be helping card counters. Technically, it isn’t illegal to count cards but the Casino retains the right to refuse service to anyone and they will do so with card counters.  Still, using another device to aide in the counting of cards is considered illegal under Nevada gambling laws. Its unclear how people are actually using their iPhones in a casino. Ultimately, this app may be a good way of practicing mental card counting but actual use may result in an unpleasant run-in with Robert De Niero.
