Looks like Circuit City will start going down in the history books with an end date. The nation’s second largest electronics retail store will be liquidating merchandise in all of its 500+ stores. According to reports, it was unable to find any buyers for the chain since it went up for auction today. It will be forced into chapter 7. If you want anything from Circuit City, its best to go now before its all over. ITS ALL OVER PEOPLE! ITS ALL OVER!! Looks like a bittersweet day for Best Buy as its number one competitor goes under. Best Buy has still been doing well but with the trend of giant electronics superstores such as Fry’s and numerous online competition undercutting the market, one can’t help but wonder if even their days are numbered.
