After reading several written reviews and watching video reviews of the iPhone 3G, one thing is certain: A copy & paste feature that is missing. Certainly it is desired by faithful iPhone users. Just recently though, Apple Insider has reported that copy & paste feature references have been discovered in existing frameworks for the iPhone.
Apparently, as reported in their article, hints to it’s eventual development may exist, but the vice president of product marketing for Apple said “the feature was not a priority and that engineers simply hadn’t gotten around to it yet.” Does that mean such a requested feature will not come up in the future? The groundwork may be there, and improvements are always being made for consumers, as is evident with the iPhone 3G being “up to speed” and business friendly, just to name a few. Seeing how the iPhone has improved a bit for business use, especially having Microsoft Exchange now available, it would make sense for a copy & paste feature to be made available, which would make blogging and other activities on the iPhone slightly more attractive. We’ll just keep our fingers crossed as we have about other features. Yes, Apple will continue to make the iPhone better, no doubt about that.
