It has been reported that Apple has been seeding the latest build of Mac OS X 10.5.6 to those who work for Apple. This is big news because this is a sign that this may be the final version. Usually, when Apple is seeding builds for testing, they usually seed them to developers. But with reports that Apple is seeding them internally outside the developer’s circle, it usually indicates they have the final version. There are also reports that we could expect the Mac OS X 10.5.6 update to be released as early as Friday (12/12/2008). We won’t know for sure until tomorrow. For all Mac fans, keep your eyes are ears open and remember to check the Software Update in your Mac OS X menu. The update should be free for those who have Mac OS X 10.5.
