I bet the people at the Apple Store have heard everything when it comes to people wanting their iPhones replaced, but I bet a bear attack was something new. Kris Rowley was hiking in the Vermont woods this past summer when she came across a bear, she backed away slowed but the bear began to follow her.
She then tried to pick up the pace and get father away from the bear but it continued to follow, usually when you encounter a bear it is advises not to run, as it will entice them to run after you. She had nothing to protect herself with and the only thing she had on her was her iPhone, so she threw it at the bear. Note to app developers, make a bear defense app!
The bear must of been an Apple fan as it worked to distract him and she left in a hurry. She then returned with a baseball bat to get her iPhone back, I would have uses a .44 magnum or pump shotgun with slugs. The iPhone was pretty much destroyed but she thought Apple would hook her up with a new one. They didn’t however, and she had to buy a new one.
