Emulators work better on iPhone 3GS

June 25, 2009

Apple News

The iPhone 3GS has faster hardware which really helps make it shine when it comes to emulators. Of course the iPhone 3GS has not been officially jailbroken yet. But this video of the PSX emulator running on the iPhone 3GS should prove that the increase in hardware capabilities mean even some of the more advanced games like Final Fantasy VII can run smoothly. From what we’ve heard, emulators on the iPhone 3G were much more choppy and this particular game was notoriously slow to the point where it wasn’t even playable anymore. If you’re into emulators, the iPhone 3GS may be a good investment.
