If you own a tablet computer or one of the newer Macbooks with the large track pad and are running the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, you can actually use multi-touch gestures to switch between tabs. To activate this feature, you’ll have to do some command line edits (but don’t worry they are really simple!). Simply type “about:config” in the address bar and click yes when it warns you that “these are advanced settings bla bla”.
Once you are in, just find the line that says “browser.gesture.twist.right” and change the value filed of that line to “Browser:NextTab”. Now change the value of “browser.gesture.twist.left” to “Browser:prevtab” and there you have it! Be careful kids and don’t hurt yourselves!
