With the 2.2 firmware update for the iPhone, Google Streetview is now a valuable tool in your arsenal. Streetview also happens to be a valuable tool in the police arsenal as demonstrated by a recent bust that was made possible by the software that had previously been known for only busting men engaged in extra-marital affairs and androgenous Spanish people urinating on the street. A little girl was allegedly kidnapped by her grandmother. Police were able to trace a cell phone to a specific coordinate. When they looked that coordinate up on Google streetview, they were able to find a hotel, the same hotel that the girl and her grandmother were holed up in.
