The reports are still coming in about the problems with the iPhone 3GS. Some users have even reported that their white iPhone 3GS was overheating and turning brown. While we haven’t personally witnessed this phenomenon, we have noticed that the handset does get quite hot with prolonged usage. The problems don’t end there however, there are signs that the iPhone firmware 3.0 is to blame since iPhone 2G and 3G users have also reported problems upon updating to firmware 3.0. In many cases, the battery is draining much faster even when the phone is not being used. Could it be that push notifications has gotten out of control and there are too many processes running in the background? Is this the beginning of the machine takeover?
