According to the latest figures from November, the Apple iPhone now controls about 16.6% of the market share. The iPhone craze has been in full swing for a while now and its market share has been steadily climbing. Just last month, the iPhone beat out the RAZR to become the number one selling phone in America! Its rival, Nokia, is still by far the biggest player in the market with a current market share of about 43%. However, considering that just last year Nokia had over 63% market share, the iPhone has clearly done some serious damage to Nokia. Most analysts doubt the Blackberry Storm’s “iPhone-killing” capabilites. It looks like the iPhone will be a permanent fixture on the landscape from now on and Nokia better get used to it.
