Sorry folks, Macworld 2009 is over and there was no BIG surprises; like the rumored iPhone nano, or new Mini rolling out. Not even Steve. There was some Tony Bennett, and some Macbook Pro reprises, a little DRM news. Nothing to shiny or cool. Not that the new Macbook Pros are not impressive but we were disappointed to say the least after the Nano and Mini Hype. Well, thanks anyway Apple, we will check out these new and improved Macbook Pros, scheduled to release at the end of January. They do have the longest battery life EVER! In fact lets go over the specs for everyone on what was covered.
Features of MacBook Pro
- Mini DisplayPort
- USB
- FireWire 800
- Glass Trackpad
- MagSafe
- Anti-Glare Screen optional
- 1920 x 1200 display, 700:1 contrast ratio, 60% greater color gamut.
- 8 hr battery life! 3 hrs added from original.
- 8 GB Ram
- C2D CPUs
- 256GB SDD
There was also some business about a complete DRM removal… I was like, whatever. Just kidding that is some big news also. Ray will be covering that so take a read on that also.
