Yesterday we reported that the new iPhone firmware 2.2 was to include Google Street View. Now it has come to our attention that the new iPhone firmware 2.2 will include a small minor change in the Podcasts section. There is much speculation that iPhone users would be able to directly download Podcasts without having to connect their iPhone to a computer. A few weeks back, an application called Podcaster was denied by Apple and we are now speculating that Apple already had plans to add this feature to the iPhone with their own firmware. That is why Apple denied the Podcaster application. We shall wait and see if Apple does add this feature as it already makes sense since iPhone users already have the ability to download applications and songs/videos directly onto their iPhone.
