The VLC media player is considered one of the best media players out there. You drop in any file and if there is some sort of media embedded within the file’s crevices, VLC will take it and play it for you. Now there is an application for the Apple iPhone that will help you control that power. Introducing the VLC Remote application. It basically works like the Remote application that helps control your iTunes. It works through the user’s home network and with the application, you can play, pause, and skip through the media file. It comes in two version: regular and free. The regular version will cost you $1 for a limited time and it will allow you to control your playlist and search your hard drive for other media files. The application is available at the Apple iTunes App Store.
