When the new iPhone 3G was first released the long lines and huge crowds made it real hard and time consuming to purchase and activate your iPhone in an Apple or AT&T store. Now we have learned that Wal-Mart will start to carry the iPhone 3G in their stores, boy have times changed! How the process of activating your iPhone 3G has just gotten a whole lot easier according to sources at Boy Genius and Gedgetell. They say that AT&T will now offer home activation for the iPhone 3G, no need to go in store anymore. For those receiving an iPhone 3G for Christmas they won’t have to wait in any lines or navigate through a crowd of people making returns after the holidays. This service has not officially been announced however, stay tuned for an official announcement from AT&T.
