Skype gets MMS support

The Skype app for the iPhone has recently been upgraded to 1.1 and a few notable improvements are included. Skype for the iPhone now has SMS capabilities and voicemail among other improvements. Skype is one of the those apps that AT&T would never have wanted but unfortunately for them and fortunately for us, its a good way to reduce our monthly wireless bill. It should be noted however that the voicemail feature for Skype 1.1 will cost you about 6 dollars for 3 months and 20 for 12 months. Still, SMS would be a good feature to have. Sigh* if only Skype would now support push notifications…
