Sony recently released the S-AIRPLAY and XROSS FADE iPod dock players. The S-AIRPLAY is a multi-room iPod audio system that wireless plays music via speakers as far as 164 feet from the central dock. The S AIRPLAY supports up to ten receiving systems so you can play your music around your whole house if you wanted to. Each of these satellites allows you to skip tracks and independently of the main base where the iPod is located. Each one is also an AM/FM alarm clock and can be connected to a home theater. The S-AIRPLAY goes for $400 for the main dock hub and two satellites with each additional satellite speakers going for $130.
Sony also released their XROSS FADE DJ mixer. It features 450-watt stereo features dual iPod docks and mixing controls with a two-channel mixer with a crossfader and a monitor so you can sync it all up. The XROSS FADE also features an MP3 quality booster to improve sound quality in larger rooms and a USB jack so you can save your cool DJ beats. The XROSS FADE from Sony goes for $500 and will be available in September.
