- There are plenty of games out there now available for your iPhone but it is safe to say that with an open market for noob code writers to publish their amateur game titles on iTunes, there’s plenty of lack luster games floating around the iPhone community. So heres the low down on the top ten games any true gamer should have in there iPhone collection.
10. Myst: (6 Bucks)

Who remembers playing this puzzle driven game on their PC’s back in the day? Well the game makes a return for your iPhone, the puzzles are just as frustrating as ever and its a great way to occupy your self and kill time when on the go. Those of you that are into drawn out stories and head scratching puzzle games, this may be worth a go.
9. Spore Origins: (5 Bucks US only)

The groundbreaking game Spore makes a splash into the hand held gaming scene, however keep in mind that it has been drastically down sized for optimal play in your phone but overall still functions as a great game. Instead of a mass collection of species, you only focus on a petri dish size world. Tilting your iPhone side to side controls your little single cell creature, and with customizable skins from your stored photos, no two should look the same. This would be a good game for fans of the original.
8. De Blob: (4 Bucks)

You want even simpler gaming fun, well then De Blob is where its at. Another fun motion involved addicting game which has you controlling a little round blob monster oozing all over the place. Enemy targets are out to get you so tap them on the screen to dispose of them before they turn the tables on ya. And that’s really it how much simpler can it get? And with it’s release date soon approaching for the Nintendo DS, 4 bucks is a steal compared to the 30 plus it will be on the DS
7. Texas Hold Em’ (5 Bucks)

Well Texas Hold Em’ for the iPhone should be easy to explain. The popular card game that has recently caught the attention of the media and have since then been all over television makes it’s way to your iPhone in style, with great real life visuals this makes you forget its on your phone and has you feeling like your playing in a real card game. With great animations from your opponents you will have to study their movements to figure out their tells and find when best to slam them with the all in bet.
6. Vay: (5 Bucks)

Remember the golden age of RPG (Role Playing Games) like Zelda and the like. Well for your iPhone you can get your classic gaming fix with Vay. With about 40-50 hours of RPG play you cant go wrong. Packed with the typical dungeons and magic finger wiggling spells and sword play Vay is a no brainer for gamer fans of this genre and for only 5 bucks what more can you ask for.
5. Wolfenstein 3D Classic: (2 Bucks)

The early FPS (First Person Shooter) classic Wolfenstein 3D needs no introduction. With everything exactly how you remember it in your younger gaming days has made it all onto the iPhone. With simplistic smooth controls either touch or motion you pick your poison, Wolfenstein is a definate must have. With 60 levels of baddies to put bullets through designed for the iPhone by the original creator himself John Carmack, every gamer should have a copy of this FPS favorite. Could anything be better for 2 bucks?… Doom maybe.
4. Need For Speed (10 Bucks, US only)

All gaming car fans are more than familier with this world famous racing title. Need for Speed has long been the forerunner in the racing genre on home gaming consoles for a good while. And now iPhone gamers can get their fast paced driving fun on the go. The graphics are surperb for being a shoehorned game to fit the iPhone and the tilt control scheme makes it that more involved and a fun racing game experience.
3. Tiger Woods Pga Tour: (10 Bucks US only)

OK I’m not much of a golfing fan but playing the game is actually quite fun and addicting to boot. The graphics are nice and clean and all the best features from the console version are present on the iPhone version even the create a player ability is all here not to mention 120 holes of golf and all the name brand golf courses will have yelling out loud FOOOUUURRR in your next boring corporate meeting.
2. Assassins Creed Altairs Chronicles: (10 Bucks)

Well there’s not a whole lot of sandbox style games out there for the iPhone just yet but Assassins creed proves to deliver the goods on the next gen take for iPhone gaming. And for half the cost of the Nintendo DS version its not a bad deal. With about 6 hours of game play you will enjoy great controls and entertain your self while hacking up opponents and sneaking around for that righteous kill.
1. Tetris: (8 Bucks)

And the number one game for your iPhone is (drum roll…) The classic puzzle game favorite Tetris! Tetris is one of the top selling game titles for the iPhone. With its easy to understand game play and its ability to entertain any level of gamer this is the number one must have game for your on the go gaming. No game is ever the same so the replay value is always great so it wont ever get old. There is only 15 levels which doesn’t seem like much unless your some kinda pro, because in the later levels it get’s crazy hard, so the desire to reach that final level will keep you coming back for more, just dont throw your iPhone across the doctors waiting room in frustration.
