Yesterday Apple released the 2.0.2 version of the iPhone Firmware. I had no problem downloading it and updating my iPhone, however, it seems that some people are encountering problems with this said download. On the iPhone Spies blog, it has been stated that some people are encountering cryptic error messages when attempting to download 2.0.2. Apparently this problem isn’t to widespread, as some people have reported downloading the file without any snags. I downloaded the file to update my iPhone earliar this morning without any snags. It is likely that by now Apple has remedied any previously existing problem.
