Wireless Recharging

One of our personal favorites from CES 2009 and various other tech shows lately has been the increased marketing presence of these wireless power delivery devices. The PowerMat wireless charging pad you see in the video can recharge your electronic devices without having to plug them in through a process called inductive coupling. Although physically plugging in your devices is not too much of an inconvenience it is a good look into a future maybe 10 years down the line where every household will have a surface to throw all their portable electronics onto for recharging. Getting one now might be more hassale than its worth what with modding all your devices to be compatible. Still, this can be a big step towards a wireless future.
