Finally it’s here! Redmond Pie has released an untethered jailbreak on iOS 5.0.1. for the iPhone 4s and iPad 2 using Absinthe. A step-by-step guide has not been released as of yet, and Redmond Pie advises everyone to wait until they come out with a video walk-through.
You can however start the jailbreaking process by downloading Absinthe for Mac. Windows and Linux versions have not been released as of yet. Stay tuned for the updated post featuring a video walk-through of how to jailbreak your device.
