Apple recently released a new iOS 11.1.1 software update for the iPhone and iPad. We recently saw some speed test videos of the new OS and now we have a battery life test. In the video below we get to see the iOS 11.1 software update tested against the new iOS 11.1.1 update.
The two versions of iOS are tested using Geekbench 4 on a number of iOS devices including the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S and the iPhone 7. Will the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS bring any battery life improvements to the handsets.
As we can see from the video, there appears to be slightly less battery life in the new iOS 11.1.1 software update overall, on the iPhone 6S the battery life was slightly better. From the video we can see that the difference in battery life is not massive.
Apple is working on their new iOS 11.2 software update at the moment, the company recently released their third beta of the OS.
