Apples 2 billion dollar data center revelaed (Video)

A while back we reported that Apple has invested about 2 billion bucks into the building of a new giant data farm in North Carolina. Not much more has been revealed about its specific purposes, maybe a super MobileMe or iTunes, or whatever else crazy Steve Jobs can come up with.

    I don't blame apple for having such a big data center. Its a big corporate that is renowned worldwide that requires a lot of resources to accommodate its customers. Both the seller of the land and Apple got a good deal in this trade. The land owner got enough compensation for his land and a bragging rights to tell all his friends that part of Steve Job's office is now sitting on his former properties. Apple in return got more space than they paid for. So everyone is happy.
