Beamer iPhone case features a built-in light

One of the main features that many other smart phones has that the iPhone lacks is a light, especially for camera use. Well the Beamer community developed iPhone case solves this issue. The built-in light can be used as both a flash for the iPhone’s camera and as a basic flashlight, which is a nice touch. The Beamer case is made out of hard plastic and is slim fitting, it is held together with a friction-fit two piece design. Using the light is simple enough as well, just press the silicone button and the light stays on for 10 seconds, giving you plenty of time to snap a picture in low light conditions.

Need to light up a room? Press the button two times will leave the light on indefinitely until you are ready to turn it off, by pressing the button a third time. The case uses a bright LED bulb and comes with a replaceable coin cell battery that should give you about 10 hours or light time. The case will come in various colors to choose from.

The Beamer case is the 18th product designed by the quirky community since the site was launched on June 2nd, 2009. The idea behind the site is to give members a chance to get their product ideas from being just an idea, to an actual product. The case is currently on sale for $32 from the quirky online store.
