Hackulous Tutorial: How to get Free iPhone Apps

I followed everything above, installs apps just like in your vid BUT when I Spring Bpard back there is nothing on my screen for the installed apps. If I chk Installous -> Downloads its shows teh apps installed…what’s the deal?

when you download installous you have to download a app from the app store (free or paid) then you can download everything

i downloaded everything but when i got to the part where we went to springboard i have installous there but when i click on it i get a error message http 504

Once you download it, you must go to the download section. There you will see all ur downloaded apps and then you must install it. It will install it and you’ll be happy with your brand new app.

even after install it still does not so up you didnt answer any of our questions

trust me just reinstall it that’s what i did go to manage -> packages go to installous (if it’s there) -> modify (top right) then reinstall then confirm.

I have had installous before and it worked great but I restored my iPod because it froze and so now I try to download installous again and cydia recognizes hackulo and I find installous press on it (install) but then instead of the page that says confirm… It says canot comply for varios reasons that Canot be automatically fixed… Can someone pls help I’m confused and frusterated

Hey Guys, you need not be worried about what is going on, just add the URL, then search for the package named “Appsync for OS 3.1″ or “Appsync for OS 3.0″, install it and then download and install a free application (like a free game) from itune’s website, then you would be able to install all applications available for you phone, it just works,

I had a problem where i typed in the http://cydia.hackulo.us and couldnt get past this step because of some repository problem followed by a paragraph about how it is illegal or somthing…

If you get this problem, then leave the “MANAGE” part of cydia and enter the “CHANGES” part. Upgrade or update the changes then try the http://cydia.hackulo.us step again. It worked for me and for another guy halfway through this blog named Phillip.

i got installous. i find an app i want. i press download and go to a website. i type the verification thing then i press download. after it downloads, i click it and press install. it says installl complete and has a checkmark on it. yet when i leave installous and check every page, the app isnt there. when i go back to installous it says i have to install it again. i install it again but the same problem happens AGAIN. can someone help me please?

You need to run iRecovery if you get an install error with iTunes. Google iRecovery and it will show you the steps needed.

Have an iPhone 3GS, had no issues adding the url. Do select to “add anyway” if you wish to ignore the warning. Then simply click on the source, browse, and as it says, choose a link to download it at. Especially the ones that say “hacked”. Done.
