The Apple iPhone 3G has recently passed the Motorola RAZR as the most popular cellphone in the world. The study from AdMob compares ad requests and it showed that the iPhones went from 2.1 percent up to 4.1 percent a month later. The rest of the list had devices from Nokia and RIM. In the US market share of cellphones was still dominated by RAZR at 7.1 percent but the iPhone 3G is definitely catching up as the iPhone jumped from seventh all the way to second place at 6.9 percent. Looks like things are getting better all the time for Apple.
