Lady Gaga’s iOKi karaoke app

Are you a fan of karaoke? Well if so then here’s a new app for you, pop music diva Lady Gaga has partnered up with iOKi to bring the iOKi karaoke app for the Gaga fan in you. The iOKi iPhone app turns your iPhone into a full-fledged karaoke machine, included are Lady Gaga’s annoying yet chart topping hits. The app will be released to coincide with her new album coming out on November 23rd.

iOKi seems to have swung for the fences with this app, they went all out and really tried to make the best karaoke app for the iPhone. Instead of taking the route lesser apps have by adding lyrics on low quality video files, they used the original videos they were able to obtain from licensing the content from their respective labels. Think Rock Band and all the trouble and work they went through to make their awesome instrument playing titles.

The app plays pretty well, it’s easy to jump into and start singing. If you are familiar with other karaoke setups you’ll be able to use this app fairly quickly, the lyrics show up on screen much like other karaoke machines. The UI is easy to use as well, and won’t take long to figure out. You can record your songs and then post them online to show off, which I won’t be doing anytime soon. Ok maybe after a few shots.
