Phone Saber is Removed from the App Store after developer THQ claims it has the rights to the Lightsaber likeness

One of my favorite iPhone App’s, Phone Saber has been removed from the App Store by MacBox (the developer of PhoneSaber) due to current talks the developer is having with THQ over the legality of using the Lightsaber likeness. However, it seems as though this App will soon be coming back in a more canon form (with official sound effects). As far as what we have heard the chats between the two companies is friendly, and will likely result in a positive outcome. The problem is that THQ owns the rights to use the Lightsaber likeness on gaming devices. Hopefully we will see this App come back revamped, and still free. For now I’ll just enjoy the copy installed on my iPhone.
