Apple sent out invitations to the media for a special event they will be holding in San Francisco on September 9, 2008. The invite hinted that the event will be focusing on the iPod, most likely to spark interest in the upcoming holiday shopping season or to announce the new iPod nano. Apple has hinted at a new product launch sometime this month so this may be when they’ll be unveiling it. No other official word on what the party will be about has been confirmed, stay tuned for more news regarding this invite only Apple event.
