To set the stage, Steve Ballmer was getting ready to start a meeting with some other Microsoft employees when he noticed that one of the employees was about to take his picture with an iPhone. Ballmer reportedly grabbed the phone out of the hand of the employee and started to make joking comments about it. At one point he even set the phone on the ground and pretended to stomp it.
All the intimidation aside, Ballmer even took the time to remind the employee later that he had not forgotten about him. There’s one employee who probably wished he didn’t have an iPhone at that point. If the battle between Microsoft and Apple was a Poker game, you can bet that Ballmer’s little tantrum probably just clued Steve Jobs in and he should be going “all in” any minute…
