Apple recently received one billion iPhone app downloads, who was the lucky person to put their download count over the top? It was none other than Connor Mulcahey a 13 year old iPhone user from Weston, Connecticut in the good old US of A. Apple said that he downloaded the app Bump which allows iPhone users to send their contact info to other iPhones. For Connor’s achievement Apple has awarded him a MacBook, an iPod Touch and an Apple Time Capsule backup system as well as a $10,000 iTunes gift card. Not bad, not bad at all. The vice president of iTunes sent Connor an email to his iPhone thanking him personally. What a lucky kid, I’d slang all the stuff on Craigslist and pocket the cash, but that’s just me.
